TALENT AFRICA GROUP ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF LEGENDS OF SOUND WITH A NEW CHAPTER: GROUP THERAPY

Kampala, Uganda. After three consecutive years of delivering some of Uganda's most celebrated live music experiences, Talent Africa Group has officially announced the return of its flagship nostalgia concert series, Legends of Sound. The highly anticipated third edition will take place on Friday, November 7, 2026, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, under a bold new theme: Group Therapy.

Since its inception, Legends of Sound has evolved beyond a concert into a celebration of African musical heritage. Each edition has honoured legendary artists whose music has transcended generations while creating unforgettable moments for audiences across East Africa.

Last year, audiences witnessed the historic Afrigo @ 50 celebration, an extraordinary tribute to Uganda's longest-serving band, featuring the legendary Afrigo Band alongside Congolese music icon Koffi Olomidé. The year before, Talent Africa Group reunited Uganda's beloved girl group BLU*3, bringing Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru and Lillian Mbabazi back to one stage in a reunion that captivated the nation and became one of the country's defining entertainment moments.

Now, the journey continues.

This year's edition introduces a concept unlike anything audiences have experienced before. Aptly titled Group Therapy, the event explores the unique ability of music to heal, reconnect and unite people through shared memories and timeless songs. It is an invitation for audiences to relive the soundtrack of their lives alongside the artists who created it.

Rather than simply revisiting the past, Legends of Sound: Group Therapy promises an immersive celebration of nostalgia, emotion and live performance. The evening will bring together legendary artists whose music has shaped generations across Uganda, East Africa and beyond, creating a shared experience that is both deeply personal and universally familiar.

While Talent Africa Group is keeping this year's artist lineup under wraps, the organisers promise an unforgettable production featuring iconic performances, surprise collaborations, emotional reunions and legendary voices that have defined African music over the decades. Every announcement in the weeks ahead will reveal another piece of what promises to be the biggest edition of Legends of Sound yet.

"Legends of Sound has become more than an annual concert—it has grown into a cultural experience that celebrates the music, memories and artists who continue to shape our lives," said a spokesperson for Talent Africa Group.

"Every edition tells a different story. This year, we wanted to create something that resonates with everyone. Group Therapy is about reconnecting with the songs that carried us through different seasons of life, celebrating the voices we grew up listening to, and bringing people together through the healing power of music. The lineup will speak for itself."

The announcement has already sparked excitement and speculation among music lovers, with one question dominating conversations across social media: Who will headline this year's edition of Legends of Sound?

Will audiences witness another unforgettable reunion? Could legendary regional icons finally share one stage? Or is Talent Africa Group preparing an entirely new musical experience that no one sees coming?

For now, the organisers are keeping those answers a closely guarded secret.

One thing, however, is certain.

On November 7, the legends return.

This year's session of Group Therapy promises to remind audiences why some songs never grow old, some voices never fade, and some moments deserve to be shared together.

Further artist announcements, ticket information and exclusive event details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
