The two-day tournament brought together players from Uganda, Kenya, Canada, India, Tanzania, the United States of America and the United Kingdom, highlighting the rapid growth of pickleball in Uganda and its increasing international appeal.

“The Uganda Pickleball Open demonstrated the tremendous potential of this sport in our country. Welcoming players from seven nations was an important milestone for us and reflects the growing interest in pickleball across Uganda and the wider region. The Uganda Pickleball Association remains committed to expanding the sport through organised competitions, player development, community engagement and partnerships that will introduce pickleball to more people across the country.
