Princess Amira Converts to Islam, Marries Minister Haruna Kasolo in Private Ceremony

Musician Princess Amira has confirmed her conversion to Islam and revealed that she has officially changed her name to Princess Amira Kasolo, following her recent marriage to State Minister for Microfinance, Hon. Haruna Kasolo.

Amira shared the news of her conversion and marriage during a private conversation with friends, expressing that the decision was made out of love and respect for her husband. “I am now known as Princess Amira Kasolo,” she said, proudly embracing her new identity.

The couple reportedly held a low-key wedding ceremony, which Amira explained was intentionally not publicized. “It was a personal affair, and we didn’t want to shock the public or co-wives like Aisha Kasolo,” she said.

Speaking openly about her role in the Minister’s household, Amira confidently described herself as the mugole (favorite wife), citing her youthful energy and elegance. “I’m still fresh and clean compared to the older wives,” she stated, affirming her unwavering love and commitment to the Minister “come rain or sunshine.”
