Spanning from September 12, the festival kicked off with a historic coronation ceremony and culminated in two days of vibrant cultural events and competitions.
The festival showcased an array of exciting activities, including a competitive golfing tournament and a basketball competition, both presided over by King Oyo himself. Participants and visitors had the opportunity to embark on royal tours, including the stunning Kibaale Gorilla Trekking, highlighting the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Tooro region. The King, accompanied by Princess Bagaya, also led a special bird-watching experience.
Guests were treated to a spectacular fashion gala featuring both traditional and contemporary designs, along with a royal dinner hosted by The Queen Mother, Her Royal Majesty Queen Dr. Best Olimi Kemigisa Akiiki.
Musical performances were a standout feature of the festival, with renowned artists such as Blu 3, Fik Fameica, and Beenie Gunter taking the stage. They were joined by a selection of Tooro's finest talents, including Atwooki Richie, Muzanil Ayesiga, and Irene Henda, among others. The entertainment lineup was further enhanced by popular DJs Tony, DJ Bash, and DJ Hash.
