Currently in Canada, Sheebah is preparing to welcome her first child—a long-awaited moment that marks a new chapter in her life and career.
In her heartfelt message, Sheebah shares a powerful story from her own past, highlighting her mother's courage and resourcefulness in the face of adversity. Sheebah reveals that 35 years ago, her mother faced a difficult and dangerous situation when Sheebah was born prematurely at just 7 months. With no access to proper medical care or resources for an incubator, her mother, who was living in Mijjeera at the time, used her own instincts to keep her newborn alive, ultimately saving her daughter’s life.
A Blessing in Disguise
"35 years ago, today… a sad, frustrated lady in Mijjeera went into early labour & had a 7-months premature baby... With no money or support to go to the hospital for an incubator to save her child, She created her own method that helped keep this little girl warm enough to stay ALIVE & it WORKED!" Sheebah wrote in her post. "She didn’t even know what she was doing, but it worked!!"
Sheebah goes on to express profound gratitude for the strength and perseverance her mother displayed, describing herself as "the little premature girl" who, against all odds, has become a source of joy and blessing not only to her mother but to her entire family and countless others.
"Today, the little premature girl is not only her mom’s biggest blessing but family too, & so many others... Talk about a BLESSING IN DISGUISE!! THAT'S GOD."
Reflecting on Life’s Lessons
As Sheebah enters her 35th year, she looks back at the last three years of her life as some of the most transformative and challenging years of her journey. "The past 3 years have been the most fundamental years of my life! My spirit & character have been tested like a million times!!" Sheebah admits, acknowledging that without strength and consistency, she could have lost herself.
However, she sees these challenges as crucial lessons that have shaped her into the woman she is today. "If my character was weak & inconsistent, I would’ve lost myself. Yet... To be honest, The same 3 years came with Big LESSONS & Big BLESSINGS."
Sheebah hints at a deeper personal journey, revealing that one day, she plans to share her full story in a "REAL LIFE documentary," should God allow.
Preparing for Motherhood
The most significant part of Sheebah’s birthday post is the anticipation of becoming a mother. Sheebah, who has been open about her desire to have a child, shared her excitement and nervousness about labor. "I’ve always prayed for a baby at 35 & Boom!... In a few... I will be holding my Little Bird in my hands," Sheebah shared with joy. "I can’t wait to meet the sweetest blessing of my life thou! My Little Bird, My own HUMAN, My Own Heart."
However, Sheebah also expressed her vulnerability in the post, admitting that she is scared of labor and anxious about the pain that comes with childbirth. "Yes, I’m scared of labour. It’s my first time, and I have low tolerance for physical pain," she confessed, sharing a raw and real moment of self-reflection.
Despite these fears, Sheebah remains optimistic and grounded, finding strength in her faith. "Thank you God for THIS beautiful, life-changing YEAR. I know this too comes with new challenges, but with YOU by my side, AM ALWAYS READY FOR ANYTHING."
