Ugandan music star Vinka has urged her fans to turn up early for her highly anticipated Vinka Live & Loud concert, scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2026, at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
While addressing the media today ahead of the concert, Vinka spoke about the highly anticipated show and what fans should expect when they gather at the venue tomorrow.

Unlike a typical concert where fans arrive shortly before the headline performance, Vinka Live & Loud has been designed as a full-day entertainment and lifestyle experience.
The gates will open at 3:00 PM, giving fans several hours to enjoy entertainment, brand activations and other activities before the main concert begins at 7:00 PM.

According to organizers at Swangz Avenue, fans will be welcomed with interactive games, giveaways, product sampling and immersive brand experiences from some of Uganda's leading brands.
Food lovers will also have plenty to enjoy, with vendors expected to serve a variety of local dishes and contemporary cuisine.
DJs will keep the atmosphere lively throughout the afternoon, while hospitality and lifestyle zones will provide spaces for friends and families to relax, socialize and enjoy refreshments ahead of the evening performances.

Early arrivals could also be treated to surprise performances from guest artists.
Organizers have hinted at exciting appearances and collaborations before Vinka takes the stage, adding to the anticipation surrounding the concert.
Swangz Avenue Events Manager Mugerwa Robert said the intention is to give fans value from the moment they enter the venue.
“This will not be your typical concert; it will be an all-day celebration of music, culture and lifestyle.”
He explained that the decision to open the gates at 3:00 PM was deliberate, allowing fans to experience the various activities, food, live entertainment and surprises prepared for the event.
Vinka Live & Loud marks a major milestone in Vinka's music career as she prepares to headline her first-ever solo concert.
The singer has built a strong fan base over the years with songs such as “Love Panic,” “Bailando,” “Thank God,” “Omukwano Gwo,” “All Over You,” “Chips Na Ketchup,” “Batuleke” and “Sirubala.”
Produced by Swangz Avenue, the concert is expected to feature major stage production, premium lighting and sound, visual effects and performances celebrating Vinka's musical journey.
