My son was the first to inform me I'm being called a prostitute - Susan Makula

Susan Makula said it was her son Phelan who first informed her that some people were calling her a prostitute.

According to Makula, her son was also told by a schoolmate. The schoolmate learnt about it from television.

"It pains me because... it's my son who first told me about it..." Makula said in an interview when she was asked how she feels about being called a prostitute.

"I asked him where he learnt about it from, and he told me he was told by a schoolmate. That the schoolmate watched it on TV."

She added: "He was affected. When he told me, I asked him, am I what they say? And he said, no. I told him to go back to school and study."

Jessica, who is married to Rubaga Miracle Center Cathedral leader Pastor Robert Kayanja, wasn't happy when Makula started dating Pastor Aloysius Bugingo.

Pastor Bugingo was married to Teddy Naluswa until his romance with Makula went public in 2019.

Naluswa and Jessica are said to be friends.

Meanwhile, Makula has refused to directly clap back at Jessica Kayanja. When she recently asked what she thinks of Kayanja’s comments about her, she said she [Kayanja] deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Makula conceived Phelan when she was a student at Makerere University. She had to drop out of school. Last year reports emerged that he had been adopted by Pastor Bugingo, and he is now called Phelan Bugingo.
